Confidentiality will be discussed in full at your initial consultation. Boundaries of confidentiality apply to both online and face to face sessions.

AMG Psychology abides by the boundaries of confidentiality and information collection and storage laid out within the Code of Ethics of the British Psychological Society and the Data Protection Act 1998. AMG Psychology is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Sessions must not be recorded.

Unless agreed by prior arrangement you will not allow anyone else to listen in or otherwise participate in your sessions.

Where unavoidable, cancellations should be made as soon as possible in advance of your sessions to allow for rescheduling. 

​

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged at the full rate. 

 

Payment for self-funding clients is due on the day of the appointment and should be made by online bank transfer.

If you are using health insurance to cover your costs, pre-authorization codes and membership details will be required before the sessions commence. You are responsible for directly settling any shortfall or excess on your policy and covering any costs unforeseen or not covered by your insurer. 

 

Please note AMG Psychology does not invoice or accept payment from employers or other third parties on your behalf. Payment is only accepted directly from clients or from insurers where an arrangement already exists.
